Privacy and cookies policy of the website

In fulfilment of Organic Law 15/1999 on Personal Data Protection (hereinafter "LOPD") and Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Electronic Commerce and Information Society Service (hereinafter "LSSI"), the trading company EQUATORIAL COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY, S.L.(hereinafter, "EQUATORIAL" or the "Company"), holder of corporate tax number B-61518064, with registered office at Avenida Paísos Catalans, 32, 08950, Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona) and with the same address for notification purposes, will provide the Users of the Services on the Website at (hereinafter, the "Website") owned by the Company, the information required for Users to give their consent so that EQUATORIAL can process their personal data and include them in the corresponding personal data file so that Users can freely decide whether or not to provide the data that may be required for subscriptions or registrations for the services offered by the Company via the Website.


Similarly, fully aware of the use and processing of the personal data, where one of its main objectives is the protection and confidentiality of the personal data provided by the Users of this Website in accordance with current legislation, EQUATORIAL has drawn up this Privacy and Cookies Policy to define: (i) the type of information requested by the Company when Users use the services offered via the Website; (ii) the processing and purposes for which the Company uses the said information; and (iii) the different security measures used for the protection thereof.


1. Data protection

The Company meets the directives of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Protection Data, Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, which adopts the implementing regulations of the Organic Law, and any other legislation in force at any time, and seeks to guarantee the proper use and processing of the User's personal data. Accordingly, together with each form for collecting personal data, the Services the User may request on the Website will inform the User of the existence and acceptance of the particular terms and conditions for the processing of his/her data in each case, informing him/her of the controller of the file that is created, the address thereof, the option for exercising his/her rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, the purpose for which the data is processed and the communications of the data to third parties, where applicable.


2. Existence of a file

The Company informs Users that their personal data will be included in a file owned and controlled by Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, S.L., with registered office at Avenida Paísos Catalans, 32, 08950, Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, which will be previously notified to the Spanish Data Protection Agency in accordance with current legislation.


3. Information collected

Should the User decide to register on the Website, he/she will be asked to provide the information indicated thereon.  The said personal data will be provided by the User voluntarily.

In whatsoever case, the Users will be liable for the truthfulness of the data provided, whereby being a User of the Website implies guaranteeing to the Company and to third parties the quality of the information provided, in other words, that the data and information provided is real, truthful and up-to-date.

For said purpose, the User will be exclusively liable for any direct or indirect damages caused to third parties or to the Company by the use of another person's personal data or his/her own personal data when they are false, incorrect, out of date, inadequate or impertinent.

4. Purpose

The Company will use the Users' personal data to provide the services offered via this Website. Accordingly, the User's data will be processed for the following purposes: (i) to provide the information requested by the User through electronic communications; (ii) process the applicant User's participation in staff selection processes or students on practicums for Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, S.L.; and (iii) comply with legal obligations.

The Company may use the personal data to develop methods, manage, improve or extend the services provided by the Website and for statistical and analytical purposes.

EQUATORIAL will use its Users' personal data only for the aforementioned purposes. If the information is to be used for a different purpose, the Company will request prior consent from the User who owns the personal data.

Users who do not register on the Website may continue to access the content that appears on the Website. However, EQUATORIAL will not be able to provide them with the services that require the aforementioned information and for which it is necessary to provide the data requested on the form.

6. User's responsibility and recommendations

The user must undertake not to use the services on the Website contrary to current legislation. Accordingly, the Company reserves the right to deny access to the Website by any User contravening the provisions of this Privacy and Cookies Policy.
