With this in mind, over the last two decades ECCBC expanded its operations to 13 countries; became a corporate citizen in each of its local communities; and created a unique team with more than 4,000 people with different languages, traditions, talents, ideas, preferences, and capabilities in order to reach 100 million consumers across the continent with a large portfolio of products and more than 200,000 points of sale.
Our diversity is a fact and is a part of our DNA. This is reflected by its inclusion as one of our core values. But more than that, our diversity is an asset of our company.
That’s why we created the Dive-In project with the support of our employees from across the company with the goal of continuing to understand our uniqueness, while listening and adapting our structure. We are convinced that making a more diverse and inclusive company day by day will enable us to achieve our vision.
We reach over 100 million consumers and serve more than 200,000 points of sale with more than 1.4 billion transactions per year.
We understand that every single consumer is unique and that each of them has a story, genuine preferences, and a special way of drinking and enjoying our beverages.
Our commitment is to be as close as possible to our consumers with the aim of producing products that satisfy their needs every day.
We provide direct employment to more than 4,000 people and indirect jobs to over 50,000 people. Our teams are spread over 14 countries, speak different languages, and have a wide range of backgrounds, religions, interests, customs, etc.
The result of these differences is that most of our projects are led by cross-cultural teams. However, we all have one thing in common: the goal of becoming the best beverage company in each of the countries we operate in.
We are convinced that each of our unique talents enables us to make this possible.
While we are excited about our growth on the continent, we also recognize that some of the territories we work in still face severe challenges such as poor access to medicine, unemployment, poverty and environmental degradation. That is why we are committed to making a meaningful economic and social contribution to the communities we serve, being actively involved in their development and supporting them in the long term.
Apart from our partnership with The Coca-Cola Foundation, we have developed our own sustainable strategy to improve the livelihood of the citizens in the countries where we operate, working alongside local organizations and NGOs to create the most value possible for our communities.
In our sustainability work we are aligning our efforts to contribute to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as taking the lead in transforming the world for the better on issues like recycling and reducing packaging.
We are proud to produce, market and distribute some of the world’s favourite soft drinks in our portfolio more than 20 sparkling and still brands, including Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Bonaqua and Minute Maid, as well as a wide choice of high-quality beverages.
We are also proud producers of some of the region’s favourite local brands, and are committed to tailoring our portfolio to our African consumers.
By strategically diversifying our portfolio, we aim to become a total beverage company by ensuring that our customers always have a wide selection of choices, and by fulfilling their beverage needs and desires for every occasion.
